Intermittent Fasting Weight Loss Update

Wow, time really does fly by, doesn’t it? Aside from not really being able to believe that it’s been about 3 months since I’ve started my weight loss journey, I also am amazed at how successful I’ve been at maintaining an intermittent fasting lifestyle!

I honesty cannot think of another time when I’ve been able to keep going with a weight loss plan for this long, without wanting to give up. Does that mean I’ve been perfect? Um, no. Absolutely not. But I’ve learned that you can still be successful without being perfect, and that is a huge win for me!

                I’ve still been sticking to longer fasts during the week, shorter fasts on the weekend, and my main form of exercise is getting in my 10,000 steps per day.

Right now, that’s working for me, so why mess with a good thing? I’ve made some definite progress toward my goals. I’m still in the same size clothing, but admittedly all of my clothes are stretchy and they’re getting noticeably looser!

I’ve lost 20 pounds, and 3 inches off my waist.

My skin is much clearer and I have lots more energy! I can easily climb the stairs, when it was getting to the point where I would be winded from only one flight. My resting heart rate has gone down, and mostly I just feel amazing!

                My goals for the next few months are to try a few 24 hour fasts to see how they feel and to add in a bit more exercise as the weather gets nicer.

I would love to speed up the weight loss, I mean who wouldn’t? but 20 pounds in 3 months is amazing, and I’m so much better off than where I was before!

So another goal is to continue to be kind to myself and celebrate each day how far I’ve come and how well I’m doing! My plan is basically to keep going and only adjust as necessary.
